We are seeking all offers on the Pylades Island property. This is a bankruptcy liquidation sale - the asking price is CDN $2,400,000 or USD $2,140,000 approximately.

This East Side of the island consists of two parcels 50.87 acres (20.58 hectares) and 15.58 acres (6.31 hectares) +/- and represents approximately half the island area. The larger parcel has a small Islet at the North East corner. The island is beautifully forested (fir, cedar, arbutus aka madrona, maple, hemlock, juniper, oak, alder) and is in a natural state with many varieties of native plants. There is a small cabin and A-Frame cottage on the south end - not considered to be of any great value. There are many excellent building sites. The shoreline is rocky and has several coves and lovely beaches especially, the South Beach.

The property is un-zoned and has no Official Community Plan, and is under the jurisdiction of the Islands Trust.

Pylades Island is located approximately 7.5 miles NE of Ladysmith and 11.5 miles SE of Nanaimo. Charter boat service is available from Chemainus with a 20 min crossing time.
